Charity Navigator recently added a nonprofit\u2019s accountability and transparency practices to the assessment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an important and timely endorsement by Charity Navigator,\u201d said Steve Elder, vice president for advancement. \u201cA recent CC alumni survey indicates that the three most important reasons our alumni support non-profits are \u2018the organization&#8217;s effective use of donations, its impact on society, and its overall reputation.\u2019 This report speaks directly to those indicators for CC.
