The Colorado College Alumni Association Board Development Committee has the privilege of interviewing outstanding applicants each year for the AAB Student Leadership Scholarship. The funds for this endowed scholarship come from the donations of Alumni Association Board members and others in the Colorado College community.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, given the greater need for financial aid and an outstanding applicant pool, the committee was determined to award four scholarships, one more than in previous years.<\/p>\n

In an effort to \u201ctop-off\u201d the scholarship fund, <\/span>Christine Moon Schluter \u201965,<\/strong><\/strong><\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/span>chair of the committee, suggested that the committee, as well other alumni in the room, individually contribute to the fund. Within five minutes, more than $800 was pledged and more pledges and donations arrived as word circulated among other AAB members and City Champions.<\/p>\n
