Helping to introduce the president was MAT student <strong>Christine Howard \u201914<\/strong> and former Colorado senator and current Secretary of the Interior <strong>Ken Salazar \u201977<\/strong>, whom Obama called \u201can outstanding alumnus, outstanding senator, and unbelievable secretary of the interior.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The campus was transformed for the event, with Benji\u2019s converted to a press filing center and Perkins Lounge to a transmission center.
