Brian served most recently as general counsel for Motorola Mobility\u2019s Home Business. During his eight-year tenure there, he led multiple legal transactions, including the global antitrust and regulatory approval process for the successful closing of the $12.4 billion sale of Motorola Mobility to Google in 2012. He holds a law degree from The George Washington University National Law Center and a master\u2019s of business administration degree from the University of Colorado. Brian has worked in education, competitive mountain athletics, and the nonprofit sector, having served as dean of athletic education at the Crested Butte Academy, interim director of the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation, and pioneer of Peak Nonprofit Consulting, LLC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Mandy Hales Chardoul<\/b> has joined Legacy Trust as director of family office services. Mandy will provide thought leadership in estate and income tax planning strategies for current and new family office clients. Before joining Legacy Trust, Mandy spent nine years at Plante Moran, PLLC, one of the country\u2019s largest accounting and business advisory firms. She has also worked with several software and Internet-based companies, including Amazon.com, Singingfish, and Onyx Software. She is a certified public accountant, and majored in world political economy at CC. She resides in Rockford, Mich., with her husband, Christian, and their daughter, Caroline.<\/p>\n<p><b>Elsie Sims<\/b> and her husband<b> Todd<\/b> <b>\u201992<\/b> live in Santa Monica, Calif., with their four children. Elsie has returned to her art, joining the TAG Gallery in Santa Monica. She finds inspiration for her woodcut designs in southern California\u2019s natural landscape.<\/p>\n<h2>1995<\/h2>\n<p><b>Kit Okazaki <\/b>was chosen as one of \u201c40 Under 40,\u201d a list of distinguished individuals compiled by the <i>Pacific Business News<\/i> in Maui, Hawaii. Kit received his MBA from the University of Hawaii. He is past president of the Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui, board member of the Maui Chamber of Commerce, and island musician with the group Nuff Sedd.<\/p>\n<p><b>Angela Smith Kirkman<\/b> and her husband <b>Jason Kirkman<\/b> have returned to the U.S. after traveling around the world and homeschooling their children for two years. They have just unveiled their new website, TheBigFieldTrip.com, on which they are posting travelogues and recipes from around the world. Over the past few years, he reviewed diagnostic criteria for bipolar disorder, PTSD, narcissistic personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, and substance use disorders. He is a licensed professional counselor in Colorado and he owns Southern Colorado Family Evaluators.<b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<h2>1999<\/h2>\n<p><b>Rachel Shechtman <\/b>was named to the <i>Forbes <\/i>\u201cUp and Comers\u201d list. Rachel owns Story, a 2,000-square-foot store in Manhattan, and every few months, she refreshes its design, theme and the products it offers. Its Design theme store sold Martone bicycles; its Love theme store featured Simon Alcantara jewelry.
