\"Brendan<\/a>Brendan Boepple \u201911<\/b>, assistant director of Colorado College\u2019s State of the Rockies Project, gave a presentation at the World Parks Congress, organized by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature in Sydney, Australia. Boepple attended the conference to represent the project, which was recognized by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy as a \u201cConservation Catalyst\u201d for its work highlighting the many challenges facing the Colorado River, as well as its efforts to work with various groups to find ways to restore the Colorado River Delta.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo present the work we\u2019ve conducted at CC to the world\u2019s oldest global environmental network was truly an incredible honor,\u201d Boepple said. \u201cIt was particularly special to be recognized for our work on the Colorado River from 2011-12, which combined CC\u2019s spirit of adventure and the place-based research for which the college has become well known.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
