The men\u2019s and women\u2019s cross country teams each won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference team championship, the first for both teams since 2011 \u2026 Nick Hall \u201915<\/b> and Leah Wessler \u201917<\/b> captured\u00a0 the individual SCAC championships, with Hall claiming his third consecutive title \u2026 Rebecca Lavietes \u201915<\/b> advanced to the NCAA Division III national meet after finishing 15th at the West Region meet \u2026 Head coach Ted Castaneda was named the SCAC Coach of the Year for both the men and\u00a0 women\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s volleyball team earned a trip to the NCAA Division III national tournament for the 17th consecutive season \u2026 The Tigers fell to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in five sets in the regional semifinal \u2026 Outside hitter Abbe Holtze \u201917<\/b> was named the SCAC Player of the Year and an honorable mention All-American, while setter Sarah Barker \u201918<\/b> was named the conference\u2019s Freshman of the Year.

Brandon Ogilvie \u201914<\/b> of the men\u2019s soccer team was named to the 2014 Capital One Division III Academic All-America Team \u2026 Ogilvie, voted to the third team by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America, was one of 33 men\u2019s soccer players nationwide to earn the highly competitive honor \u2026 Andrew Worthington \u201915<\/b> was named a first-team All-West Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
