It\u2019s hard to get and fun to do. The heart of the enterprise is the internships that are arranged for each scholar based on his or her interests, background, qualifications, and experience.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, Colorado College submits the names of two candidates for this exciting opportunity. <strong>Holly Ornstein Carter \u2018 85<\/strong>, <strong>Leon Waxer \u2018 90<\/strong>, <strong>Chessie Thacher \u2018 03<\/strong> and <strong>Edward Carlson \u2018 06<\/strong> were all selected as Luce Scholars.<\/p>\n<p>The program, funded by the Henry Luce Foundation, is directed at college seniors and recent alumni under the age of 29 with high GPAs and documented leadership potential. The program is not for people with extensive experience in Asia.
