5/1: Breaking into Social Enterprise with Nat Robinson ’03

On May 1, join us in welcoming our final Executive-in-Residence this semester to campus: Nat Robinson ’03. Nat is the former CEO and founder of Juhudi Kilimo Company Limited, which provides micro-asset financing to rural smallholder farmers in Kenya with a goal of offering transformative financial solutions. He is the current CEO of Leaf Global Fintech, which helps refugees fleeing disasters to safely carry their savings and assets in the form of a virtual currency.

Nat will speak about how CC students can break into social enterprise after graduation – either by joining an entrepreneurial organization or by founding their own. He’ll also speak about how social enterprise differs from nonprofit work, and will share his own story of founding two transformative and socially-minded organizations.
