  • 2022 Colorado Democratic Coordinated Campaign – Distributed Organizer

The Colorado Democratic Party is seeking candidates to work as Distributed Organizers during the 2022 campaign cycle. 2022 features competitive races in Colorado that include the re-election of Sen. Michael Bennet, Gov. Jared Polis, several US House seats, statewide constitutional office holders, and more down the ballot. The Coordinated Campaign will register, persuade, and mobilize voters to elect Colorado’s Democrats in 2022.

Distributed Organizers will report to the Distributed Organizing Director.


Primary Responsibilities:
● Engage in online direct voter contact such as phone banking, text banking, and online volunteer events;
● Recruit, train and manage volunteers to participate in direct voter contact programs such as
phone banking and text banking;
● Create and train organizers on the use of volunteer recruitment and direct voter contact text banks;
● Complete daily volunteer recruitment goals efficiently and effectively
● Amplify campaign messaging and engage constituents through digital and social media

The Coordinated Campaign will register, persuade, and mobilize voters to elect Colorado’s Democrats in 2022.


About this role:
Field Organizers will serve as the public faces of the campaign’s organizing efforts, working in regional teams across all facets of voter outreach. This will include but is not necessarily limited to voter registration, voter identification, volunteer recruitment, and volunteer training. Organizers should be solutions-oriented, motivated, and excited about the unique opportunity to work with and learn from a diverse group of staff and volunteers on an impactful statewide election. This role is structured around opportunities for personal and professional development, training, and mentorship. Candidates with a passion for politics, policy, organizing or issue advocacy are preferred, but no prior experience is required.


Field Organizers will report to their Regional Organizing Director.

Primary Responsibilities:
● Engage in direct voter contact such as canvassing, phone banking and text banking
● Plan, recruit for, and train volunteers for direct voter contact efforts to door-to-door canvassing, phone banks, and text banks
● Execute in-person voter registration at local events
● Complete daily volunteer recruitment call time goals efficiently and effectively
● Assist in office management and organization with colleagues as a regional team
● Additional organizing tasks as assigned by managers
