The International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) team in the Center for Global Education & Field Study is accepting applications for the Global Scholars Program (GSP) Mentor position for Summer 2022.\u00a0 \u00a0The Global Scholars Program will take place BEFORE International Student Orientation<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Colorado College Global Scholars Program (GSP) prepares international students to succeed academically and socially at CC. GSP is designed to provide students with the opportunity to adjust to U.S. classroom culture and CC\u2019s Block Plan. The GSP Mentors support international students with their cultural adjustment by helping them navigate life at CC, in Colorado Springs and in the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GSP mentors will live in the residence halls with students enrolled in the GSP program and will support students as they transition to life in the United States and at CC. GSP Mentors will be expected to eat meals with students. GSP Mentors will plan and attend the co-curricular activities of GSP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Summer 2022 Global Scholars Program dates are Tuesday, August 2-Tuesday, August 16, 2022.\u00a0GSP Mentors will need to arrive on campus on Sunday, July 31st.\u00a0Mandatory training for the GSP Mentors will take place on Monday, August 1st, 2022.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) team in the Center for Global Education & Field Study is accepting applications for the International Student Orientation (ISO) Mentor position for Fall 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International Student Orientation (ISO) Mentors are a vital part of the events and programming that take place during the fall orientation program and throughout the first two blocks of fall semester to welcome new international students and exchange visitors.\u00a0\u00a0The ISO Mentor position is a great opportunity to organize and execute events, build leadership skills, and be a part of welcoming new students to our CC community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2-day International Student Orientation (ISO) program is planned be held in person (Note: An in-person ISO is planned but is dependent on COVID safety measures<\/em>).\u00a0 Additional programming with ISO Mentors will occur over Blocks 1 & 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
