{"id":2985,"date":"2017-02-24T12:26:32","date_gmt":"2017-02-24T19:26:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.coloradocollege.edu\/careercenter\/?p=2985"},"modified":"2017-02-24T12:27:23","modified_gmt":"2017-02-24T19:27:23","slug":"siemens-foundation-path-fellowship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.coloradocollege.edu\/careercenter\/siemens-foundation-path-fellowship\/","title":{"rendered":"Extended Deadline: Due 3\/1 Siemens Foundation-PATH Fellowship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.siemens-foundation.org\/programs\/siemens-foundation-path-ingenuity-fellowships\/\">Siemens Foundation-PATH Fellowship<\/a>, a summer program that pairs promising undergraduate and graduate students in STEM fields with scientists at PATH and mentors from\u00a0<a style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\" href=\"https:\/\/usa.healthcare.siemens.com\/about-us\">Siemens Healthineers<\/a>, the global technology company\u2019s health care business.\u00a0Last summer,\u00a0<a style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.path.org\/2016\/07\/a-life-changing-summer-in-seattle-for-six-stem-students\/\">our first six fellows<\/a>\u00a0worked in PATH\u2019s diagnostics laboratory on important projects\u2014they looked for new ways to test the integrity of dried blood samples, worked on new diagnostic tests for malaria and intestinal parasites, and studied how access to diagnostics encourages healthy behavior.<\/p>\n<p>This summer, fellows will work in our\u00a0<a style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\" href=\"http:\/\/sites.path.org\/dx\/\">diagnostics laboratory<\/a>\u00a0and in our\u00a0<a style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit\" href=\"http:\/\/www.path.org\/media\/product-development-shop.php\">product development shop<\/a>.
