Grace is volunteering this summer at UCHealth-Memorial Hospital<\/a> as a Learning Link Volunteer right here in Colorado Springs.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am really excited about this position because it will allow me to be a part of that one-on-one patient experience that I don’t get to be involved in as much by simply shadowing. I am hoping to continue on to PA school once I graduate, and this healthcare experience will contribute significantly to that goal as well.<\/em><\/p>\n

Go to the career center, get your cover letter, resume, etc looked over. You don’t realize how important it is until you\u2019re going up against 50-100 people, for 2-3 spots. Also, start planning now! Don’t wait until the last minute to plan your summer. Utilize that long stretch of time, and get some valuable experience, regardless of your field of interest.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
