\"\"Reason 1: It’s not just for business majors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fair is put on by three different business schools – but it’s not just\u00a0for\u00a0<\/em>business majors. Many different industries are represented, from comedy clubs to tech companies to communications and marketing organizations. All liberal arts students are encouraged to attend!<\/p>\n

Reason 2: Big-name employers are just a handshake away.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Over 150 employers are expected at the fair, and a lot of them are big names. (Think: Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Chase Bank,<\/strong> and way more.)<\/p>\n

Hiring data shows that over 70%<\/a> of jobs are found through networking, and 80%<\/a> of jobs are never advertised online. A career fair can be your one-stop shop to shaking hands with your dream organization – and scoring a job that most people never even hear about.<\/p>\n

Reason 3: The likelihood of you getting an interview (or a job offer!) is really, really high.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Did you know that every CC student who attended the fair in 2016 scored an interview? And over half of them accepted job offers. Those are some good odds.<\/p>\n

Reason 4: It’s only an hour away.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

(If you drive fast, that is.) But really, what better way to spend a Friday afternoon than getting a job…before any of your friends are even thinking about one?<\/p>\n

Reason 5: Only students from two states are invited. (Meaning: less competition!)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yes, it’s true: only students from Colorado and Wyoming are invited to attend the fair. Consider competing against students nationwide for a position. And then consider the odds of competing against students from just two states. We know what we’d pick.<\/p>\n

Okay, I’m sold. How do I sign up?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 5th Annual Colorado Business School Career Fair will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018<\/strong> from 11:00 a.m. \u2013 3:00 p.m. <\/strong>at Mile High Stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

RSVP on Handshake<\/a> and<\/em> RSVP for ground transportation<\/a> to make sure you get a spot on the bus!<\/p>\n

CC will provide transportation – lucky you! We will gather at 11:45am<\/strong> on Friday, October 5th<\/strong> in the Loomis Circle to drive to Denver together. (And yes, this means you get to skip the last 15 minutes of class- if your professor gives you the okay, of course.)<\/p>\n
