The adjunct is a pass\/fail class that counts for a half-credit, and meets on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:45pm in Blocks 1-4<\/strong>. There is no class during fourth week.<\/p>\n

In \u00a0GS390, students will write two grants from start to finish: a Venture Grant<\/strong> of their own design, and a Life of the Mind grant<\/strong> for a student group or organization.The course is designed to help students hone skills including addressing a specific audience, designing grant project components, and writing persuasive arguments.<\/p>\n

The strategies you learn \u2013 including thinking about the applicant\u2019s goals and the funder\u2019s expectations as you justify your project\u2019s goals and methods \u2013 are applicable to all types of writing you will do at CC and beyond, from senior theses and applications to business memos and reports.
