Spotlight on\u00a0Advertising Agency Immersion<\/strong><\/h2>\n

What’s this class about?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This class is a week-long dive into the wildly creative, hyper-competitive world of an advertising agency. Learn about possible career paths from working professionals, and experience the roller-coaster ride of a new business pitch.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be briefed by a senior strategist at a Fortune 500 company on a brand challenge focused on Millennials. Working in teams, you\u2019ll develop solutions with the input of professionals in all departments (creative, media, digital, public relations, account management). At the end of the week, you\u2019ll present your ideas directly to the company\u2019s brand strategy team via large-screen videoconference.<\/p>\n

This class is taught by two CC grads in the advertising industry:\u00a0Millie Olson of Amazon Advertising<\/a> in San Francisco and Camille Blakely of Blakely + Co<\/a> in Colorado Springs.<\/p>\n

What are the times and dates?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The first week of Half Block: January 8-12, with class from 9am-noon.<\/p>\n

Besides learning the skills of crafting a successful pitch to a nationally-known brand, you’ll learn\u00a0collaboration, innovation, and turning raw creativity into deliverables.<\/p>\n
