The position is full-time and located in Denver, Colorado.<\/p>\n<div id=\"requisitionDescriptionInterface.ID2127.row1\" class=\"contentlinepanel\" title=\"\">\n<p><strong>Key Activities Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting Ph.D. economists on research projects and monetary policy briefings.<\/li>\n<li>Gathering and analyzing data, writing research and policy reports, preparing charts for presentations on economic and financial conditions, and helping produce and publish website content.<\/li>\n<li>Research Associates develop technical skills and are exposed to a broad range of economic research topics as well as a variety of economic business surveys.\u00a0 The position will have opportunities to work directly with senior economists and may give occasional public speeches as knowledge level progresses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Education and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in economics or a closely related field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Coursework or experience in econometrics, math, statistics, and statistical software packages is highly desirable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Strong academic record.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">High proficiency with personal computers and spreadsheet software.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Excellent writing and communication skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find this job listing via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kansascityfed.org\/jobsearch\">Kansas City Fed website<\/a> under job ID\u00a0<strong>252704<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Please attach a resume, cover letter and unofficial transcript copy.
