\"\"<\/a>The student-run non-profit Coding it Forward<\/a>\u00a0is accepting applications to the Civic Digital Fellowship. Impact-driven software engineers, data scientists, website designers, product managers, and data journalists<\/strong>\u00a0are encouraged to apply to opportunities\u00a0<\/strong>to modernize tech at federal government agencies\u2014including the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and U.S. Department of State.<\/p>\n

Fellows will spend 10 weeks taking a large-scale, high-impact product from start to finish; last summer, three fellows built census.gov\/smallbusiness<\/a>. Fellows will also work closely with professional mentors and visit top civic organizations and technology companies. The program provides a competitive stipend, housing, and a round trip flight to and from Washington, D.C. You can find more information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
