As a Carrier Sales Representative you will work closely with our extensive network of carriers, as well as develop new relationships focusing on improving efficiency and managing transportation costs. You will be responsible for taking a proactive approach in mastering the pricing and capacity fluctuations in the truckload shipping market.<\/p>\n
Source and procure carrier services to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of customer freight
\nWork closely within your regional team to schedule all shipments
\nEstablish and maintain relationships with carriers to expand capacity opportunities
\nNegotiate rates with carriers on a spot or transactional basis
\nEstablish internal relationships within Echo to expand your book of business<\/p>\n
