This is a fast-paced position that is designed to transition into a Store Manager role in as little as ten months! You will act as an ambassador for our customers and will focus heavily on engaging customers and driving World Class Customer Service at our stores. We will provide you the operational and leadership training you will need to be successful as a Store Manager.<\/p>\n
You will start in our Training Center learning about our processes and what we are all about here at Natural Grocers. From there, you will make your way to one of our fabulous stores where our staff waits to welcome you and support your on the job training and learning in the ways of Natural Grocers. You will spend several months at the store and will have time to manage each department- Produce, Dairy\/Frozen, Grocery, Vitamins, Bulk, Receiving, and Front End. In addition, you\u2019ll learn how our Store Managers do just that, manage our stores!<\/p>\n
From driving sales, leading staff, managing operations, and every other critical manager process, you\u2019ll get the chance to learn it all and by the time you graduate the program you will confidently step in as the leader at one of our stores! Most importantly, you are going to learn why we are different and how YOU are going to continue to set Natural Grocers apart from the rest!<\/p>\n

Exemplify World Class customer service
\nEngage our customers by focusing on customer experience, building loyalty, and overall guest satisfaction
\nLead ambassador tables, manage our N-Power customer sign-ups
\nDrive communication and education around our company differentiators (EAP, NHC’s, Product Standards and upcoming events, demos, hotline deals,
\nMotivate and inspire team members and build strong teams
\nOversee staff and help to resolve any customer or employee issues
\nLead staff meetings and staff huddles
\nEngage our teams and customers in a way that supports our values and beliefs<\/p>\n
Training<\/p>\n
Attend all required training courses and successfully pass all assessments associated with this program
\nPartner with Store Manager to develop staff<\/p>\n
Operations<\/p>\n
Effectively manage inventory and reinforce quality standards
\nDrive sales and meet store financial goals
\nCommunicate and drive all company initiatives
\nPartner with HR Business Partner and Store Manager to remain in compliance with company policies
\nIncludes documented disciplinary action, managing drug tests completing Feedback Forms, managing promotions, and ensuring proper processes are adhered to
\nEnsure safety guidelines are followed at all times
\nUnderstand and practice proper procedures when dealing with work-related injuries
\nLearn and practice administrative tasks, to include:
\nMonthly manager reports
\nProcess employee payroll
\nUtilizing HRIS and ATS to complete required tasks
\nScheduling to labor matrix \/ PTO management
\nManage operations grid
\nRecruit, screen and hire employees
\nMeet operational standards of all departments<\/p>\n
