Isla offers internships in Uganda for both students and recent graduates that are a great opportunity to gain entry-level, first-hand experience in sustainable international development.<\/p>\n

Isla interns work in collaboration with the Foundation for Community Development and local Ugandan partnerships to promote community-driven sustainable development. Internships are offered in a variety of focus areas including:<\/p>\n

– Youth Development & Education
\n– Health & Well-Being
\n– HIV-AIDS Awareness
\n– Small Business & Social Entrepreneurship Development
\n– Peace and Social Justice
\n– Gender Equality<\/p>\n

Each of our internships can be customized to best fit the students specific skill sets and interests. Our interns come from a variety of educational backgrounds.\u00a0Internships are between 9-26 weeks long. The application deadline for the summer program is April 25th.<\/p>\n
