The Government Relations Intern will play a critical coordinating and support role in\u00a0Visa\u2019s Washington, DC office supporting the efforts of the GR team.<\/p>\n

Job Scope
\n\u2022 Provide coverage of hearings on Capitol Hill and other policy related\u00a0developments in Washington.
\n\u2022 Help to design education and advocacy events with third party vendors and\u00a0key stakeholders, including data center tours.
\n\u2022 Coordinate events, logistics, and meetings surrounding Visa\u2019s technology\u00a0leadership and showcase opportunities in Washington in the summer of 2018.
\n\u2022 Help coordinate preparation of briefing materials for senior Visa executives to\u00a0drive strategic engagement with policymakers;
\n\u2022 Assist in the production of newsletter highlighting activities and key issues in\u00a0government affairs to communicate internally to Visa executives;
\n\u2022 Support content generation and production of a monthly publication for client\u00a0managers to share with financial institutions partners providing an update on\u00a0key policy developments at the state and federal level;
\n\u2022 Assist in managing relationships and projects with third-party stakeholder\u00a0groups, including trade associations; and
\n\u2022 Provide support to Government Relations and Communications teams during\u00a0external engagement events and activities in support of Visa priorities.<\/p>\n
