Intern will be integral to the organization\u2019s efforts to research, manage, and cultivate our donors and members.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Position:<\/strong>\u00a0Membership and Fundraising Intern<\/div>\n<div><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Denver, Colorado<\/div>\n<div><strong>Deadline for submission:<\/strong>\u00a0Friday September 7, 2018<\/div>\n<div><strong>Work Schedule:<\/strong>\u00a0Flexible 15-20 hours per week, from August &#8211; December 2018 with potential for continuing on through May 2019.<\/div>\n<div><strong>Compensation:\u00a0<\/strong>Paid &#8211; $10.20 per hour<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><strong>Primary Responsibilities<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist development department with funder research (major donors, foundations, and corporations)<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research and data analysis on Conservation Colorado\u2019s members and work with membership department to share reports with the rest of the organization<\/li>\n<li>Work with development team and Colorado Outdoor Business Alliance organizer to discover opportunities for collaboration with companies who share our conservation values<\/li>\n<li>Help development team carry out fundraising efforts leading up to and on Colorado Gives Day<\/li>\n<li>Prepare materials and research for meetings with current and prospective funders<\/li>\n<li>Aid in stewardship of new donors<\/li>\n<li>Carry out regular data entry and cleanup<\/li>\n<li>Assist with fundraising event prep and logistics<\/li>\n<li>Participate in assembly of mail fundraising campaigns and acknowledgements<\/li>\n<li>Represent the organization at workplace giving events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.com\/jobs\/1860661\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See more details &amp; learn how to apply on Handshake.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conservation Colorado is seeking a part-time Membership and Fundraising Intern to assist the development and membership strategy departments.
