Join Uli Nasibova \u201906, founder of Gelateria Uli, to hear about her experience being a food entrepreneur in Los Angles and how the unique structure of the Block Plan prepared her to handle the challenges of opening a business in a big city with no prior experience in food production or retail industries.<\/p>\n

Uli is originally from Baku, Azerbaijan and was an international student at Colorado College, majoring in French Literature and Mathematical Economics. She left her successful career at a premier Wall Street research and investment management firm to open a small-batch gelato shop in the heart of Los Angeles in 2014. Several years later, Gelateria Uli has two locations and has been named \u201cBest Gelato\u201d by the Los Angeles Magazine.<\/p>\n
