\"\"Rock climber Abby Dionne will visit CC from October 3rd until the 5th. Abby is the first black woman in the United States to own a rock climbing gym and strives to make the outdoor community more diverse and inclusive. Ultimately, Dionne says that her goal is to create a safe and fun environment for people to meet and experience how powerful climbing can be. You can read more about her journey in <\/span>Essence magazine<\/a> and <\/span>Melanin Base Camp’s blog<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
