The Tony Exum for State Representative Political Campaigning Internship is a\u00a0program designed to provide hands-on experience and support for students\u00a0interested in community organizing and political campaigning.
\nInterns will:
\n\u25cf Learn about campaign tactics and strategy
\n\u25cf Assist in the management of the campaign\u2019s field program
\n\u25cf Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
\n\u25cf Engage in direct voter contact and persuasion
\n\u25cf Assist with communications, fundraising, and event planning
\n\u25cf Forge strong connections with members of the Colorado Springs community
\n\u25cf Gain hands-on experience that translates to any career in community\u00a0organizing<\/p>\n

Interns will work 5-10 hours a week. We will work with interns to create a schedule\u00a0that works well for them, as well as provide assistance if they wish to receive academic\u00a0credit . If interns have specific interests in political campaigning, they will be\u00a0encouraged to pursue those interests with the full support of campaign staff.<\/p>\n
