Non-Profits & Philanthropy: You Really\u00a0Can\u00a0<\/em>Change the World Half Block<\/strong><\/h2>\n

What\u2019s this class about?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

From low-budget, two-person shops to century-old institutions with budgets in the millions, non-profits tackle some of our country\u2019s most pressing challenges and preserve some of the world\u2019s most precious places. This Half Block course will help you to think about the unique opportunity you have to begin planning the ways you might contribute your time, energy, and skills to promote health, equity, peace \u2013 whatever it is you care most about \u2013 in your life beyond CC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Co-taught by two Colorado College alumni with extensive experience in philanthropy and non-profit management, Heather Carroll \u201989 and Michelle Chalmers \u201989, it will overview the complex web of individuals and organizations that make up the non-profit sector and equip you with knowledge of how you, too, can make a difference in the world.<\/p>\n

What are the times and dates?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The first week of Half Block: January 7-11, with class from 9am-noon.<\/p>\n
