The Changemaker workshop series is a fast-paced, action-oriented series that prepares students to create impact through entrepreneurship. The series is designed to teach students how to put their ideas into action by learning the tools, and practicing the skills, that are needed to validate, scale, and perpetuate impact through business ventures.<\/p>\n
The Spring series will comprise two workshops:<\/b><\/p>\n
Block 6:\u00a0 Idea to Business: Tuesday, February\u00a026\u00a0at 3:30pm
\nInnovation space<\/b>
\nThis workshop is designed to teach students how to validate your concept and take steps to develop your ideas into a business.\u00a0 We will cover: problem\/solution fit; design sprints and prototyping; creating an organizational identity; and the Business Model Canvas (BMC). At the workshop\u2019s conclusion, students will be able to write a BMC and to talk about their \u201cwhy\u201d and \u201chow\u201d that translates their core values into actions.<\/p>\n
Block 7: Build a Pitch: Tuesday, April 2, at 3:30pm
\nInnovation space<\/b>
\nWe will cover the essential elements of a pitch, go over the necessary design elements needed to create compelling visuals, and discuss how to create content that is compelling to target audiences. Students will leave with a 10-second pitch and the tools to develop their own pitch decks.<\/p>\n
