\"Colorado-Open-Lands-logo-web-e1491250649741\"Colorado Open Lands (COL) is pleased to announce the launch of our\u00a0COL\/Sprout Foundation Internship<\/strong>Program\u00a0<\/strong>for Summer 2019.<\/strong>\u00a0This\u00a0position is a 10-12-week full-time paid internship in our Lakewood, Colorado office. The Intern will engage in and learn about all aspects of land and water conservation, specifically through private land conservation. This position will provide support to all departments for a broad-spectrum experience. The\u00a0<\/span>COL\/Sprout Foundation Internship Program\u00a0<\/strong>is designed to provide the Intern with a combination of mentored educational opportunities, field work, outreach, and administrative duties that support a well-rounded and solid foundation in the conservation industry in support of the Intern\u2019s academic and professional goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong>
\n\u2013 Currently pursuing a Bachelor\u2019s or Advanced degree.
\n\u2013 Excellent written and oral communication skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
\n\u2013 A positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a strong interest in land conservation.<\/p>\n

COMPENSATION, START DATE & APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong>
\n\u2013 $14\/hour, 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks.
\n\u2013 Not eligible for health insurances but employer will cover Social Security, Medicare, worker\u2019s comp and life & disability insurances.
\n\u2013 Start date is flexible between May 1 and June15, 2019.
