As a Games Operations (GO) team member, the extern will assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of projects for multi-sport games in which the USOC participates \u2013 Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American, Parapan American and Youth Olympic Games. Specifically, the Games Operations extern will assist with preparation for the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland, the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan and the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing, China.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities: *Provide support to Games Operations by managing various projects, which could include the following: *Completing data entry specific tasks, such as: *Administrative Support *Perform Games specific assignments as determined by leadership including learning and developing new expertise in assigned area to execute and manage as appropriate<\/p>\n *Assist GO staff members with other special projects as requested<\/p>\n
\nDuring the externship (October 1, 2019 \u2013 September 30, 2020), duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:<\/span><\/p>\n
\nPlan and execute site visits, meetings and\/or webinars
\nDesign meeting agendas, trip itineraries and create publications by compiling related resources<\/p>\n
\nCollect and manage confidential data utilizing a customized Microsoft CRM database
\nAssist with the reporting process in both Microsoft CRM and Tableau Server<\/p>\n
\nAssist by making travel arrangements including air travel, ground transportation, accommodations, etc. for staff site visits
\n<\/span>Coordinate the process of obtaining travel visas
\n<\/span>Take meeting notes as requested by GO staff<\/span><\/p>\n
