Colorado College has been cited numerous times recently in national publications. Among them are extensive quotes from President Jill Tiefenthaler in U.S. News & World Report in an article titled What a Liberal Arts College is and What You Should Know (Dec. 7, 2018). The article notes that CC’s signature Block Plan allows for more experiential learning opportunities and quotes President Tiefenthaler as saying that a liberal arts college is typically centered around helping students “learn to learn” and nurturing a love for education.
Additionally, the Wall Street Journal recently mentioned Colorado College in two articles, New Front in College Admissions: Nudging Students to Decide Early (Jan. 3, 2019) and Welcome to College. Now Take a Year Off (Dec. 25, 2018), which references the newly created Gap Year Research Consortium.
