Policing Homosexuality: 18th Century Paris<\/a><\/h2>\n

This project, based on thousands of police records located in several Parisian repositories, involves the creation of a database that will allow students and scholars to analyze patterns and changes in same-sex relations from the 1720s to the 1780s.<\/p>\n

Based on biographies written by Islamic scholar Al-Jabarti (c.1800), this project explores student teacher relationships, as well as individuals\u2019 relation to texts and subjects in the Islamic world during the 18th century.<\/p>\n
