Last weekend was full of laughter, tears, singing, dancing, orchestral music, video messages, Baccalaureate blessings, decorated mortar boards, colorful regalia, proud families and friends, advice for our graduates, and even a May snowstorm.
The CC 2022 Commencement was beautiful and fitting for a class that experienced more in their time here than some do in a lifetime. With their bachelor’s and master of arts in teaching degrees, these new CC alumni will dream big and find solutions to the world’s most pressing issues. This is what their CC education has prepared them to do. I am excited to see what they will do next, and to hear their stories next time they are on campus.
Thanks to the entire CC community, Commencement speaker Margaret Liu ’77, Baccalaureate speaker Professor Neena Grover, and the many families and friends who supported our graduates and made their Commencement unforgettable. I hope you enjoy this video capturing CC community members’ thoughts and glimpses of the festivities.
Sincerely,
