You’re invited to Community Day at CC!

Sunday, Aug. 28 is Community Day at CC! As part of the celebrations leading up to the inauguration of CC’s 14th President, L. Song Richardson, we invite everyone from CC and the broader community to campus to join in on fun and free activities throughout the day.

Stop by the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College to see the “Chicanx Landscapes” exhibit, which explores landscapes as a system of ecology, history, culture, and belonging from a Chicanx perspective, with new works presented by the interdisciplinary artist collaborative, Desert ArtLAB.

Starting at 10 a.m., CC faculty will present on all types of interesting topics from how the Fed sets interest rates to the recent Supreme Court rulings to what we can learn from zombies. A full listing of topics, speakers, and times is available. here.

Experience the new home of Tiger hockey with free ice skating at Ed Robson Arena from 10 a.m. through noon. Ice skates available free of charge on a first-come/first-served basis. Pre-registration is not necessary.

CC Athletics and Recreation will give tours of El Pomar Sports Center, offering classes and clinics in indoor rock climbing at the Ritt Kellogg Climbing Gym, floor Pilates, lacrosse, rugby, ultimate frisbee, Zumba, tennis, and much more! Get more information and be sure to register in advance here.
