Documentary Impact Campaign and Development Internship
This is a chance to work on the development of a new documentary and on the impact campaign of another documentary film about the race to cure type 1 diabetes. We are seeking a resourceful intern who can assist in all aspects of documentary development, pre-production, production, and post-production. Specific opportunities include but are not limited to assisting producers in applying to grants and foundations, helping to organize screenings in US and Canada, story research, PA on local shoots, assisting in the editing room as needed, and helping to coordinate and or organize shoots. Interns will gain experience in a fast-paced production office and learn valuable business skills such as production accounting. All learning opportunities are dependent upon individual skills and production schedules.
Legislative Budget And Policy Assistants Internship Program
The JBC Staff is hiring two Legislative and Budget Policy Assistants to support Analysts during the first phase of the budget cycle. Assistants will work on research concerning evidence that informs policy choices and the allocation of resources. Assistants will develop issue briefs on specified topics impacting state agencies and present these issues to the JBC in public meetings. This is a part-time, paid, temporary position. Assistants must be available to work in-person 20 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, from September 18th to December 15th.
Well-qualified candidates will have a background in policy research, data analysis, or public finance; interest in non-partisan work and budget issues; strong research, writing, and presentation skills; and experience working with Excel and databases.
