During class today the old PaperCut/PaperCutTouchless was replaced with the new PaperCut Hive on a select group of printers. This will change the way you print, release jobs, and log into those printers to copy, scan, or fax.
You should already have received a personal email invitation with two items unique to your account: a “get started” link you’ll use to install Papercut Hive on your computer first and your mobile device second, and a unique access code you’ll use to log into Papercut Hive printers.
Remember to look for the green Papercut Hive signs – the old papercut will not work on Hive printers, and Hive will not work on old Papercut printers. We’ll be gradually moving the remaining papercut printers to Hive over the next week or two.
Directly printing to a printer by name or IP address is not affected at all by this change.
