Papercut Hive Issue
Yesterday afternoon, we did a routine sync of our directory with Papercut Hive which unintentionally deleted almost everyone. Trust us, no one was more aghast than us at that result. We worked quickly to fix the synchronization issue, but previous installations of Papercut Hive were invalidated when they were deleted and a new invite email went out to most of you.
Long story short, if you have problems printing to Papercut Hive, it is likely due to this problem. To fix it, you need to remove the Papercut Hive printer from your computer first, then use the link in your new invite email to install it again. Once you scan the QR code from that invite email with the Papercut Hive app on your phone it should reconnect, but it’s possible you may also need to remove the Hive app and reinstall it as well. This also means you will need to use the new code in the new invite email to log onto the printers in order to scan or make a copy.
We’ll follow up later today with more detailed instructions on how to remove the Papercut Hive printers, and here are the links for helping you reinstall it. We’ll also be ready to help you out with that process today at the Solutions Center.
