I am thrilled to share that Molly Bodnar has officially accepted the position of Vice President for Advancement, effective immediately.
Molly has been at CC for 11 years, most recently as Interim Vice President for Advancement for the last nine months. Prior to the interim role, she was Associate Vice President for Advancement Operations and campaign director for Building on Originality, CC’s largest-ever fundraising campaign, which concluded in 2021. She has been recognized by the Office of Advancement for her inclusive, consistent, and collaborative leadership style.
Molly brings deep expertise in higher education fundraising and alumni engagement, having previously served as Executive Director of Annual Giving at the College of William & Mary, Associate Director of Annual Giving at the University of Michigan, and the manager of the University of Michigan College of Engineering’s annual fund.
As VP for Advancement, Molly will oversee and provide strategic direction for development, annual giving, advancement operations, stewardship, alumni and family relations, and college events.
“I am proud to lead this talented and committed Advancement team into our next chapter at Colorado College,” Molly says. “Every day, I come to my job motivated by the impactful work happening in every corner of the college, inspired by the stakeholders who make investments of time and financial resources in this special place, and excited by the potential of the future. As we mark the college’s 150th anniversary over the coming year, I look forward to partnering with CC alumni, parents, and friends to elevate philanthropy and engagement in support of our students and the exceptional CC experience.”
Please join me in congratulating Molly and welcoming her as a permanent member of CC’s leadership team!
