2024 Compensation Updates

Dear Campus Community,

I am excited to announce the increases in pay for our staff beginning July 1. In the next few days, you’ll be receiving a letter about the annual compensation increase you have earned this year. These changes are based on our compensation philosophy that was updated in partnership with the Project 2024 team and the Staff Compensation Committee.  
Our compensation website provides an overview of the increases. Some highlights are: 
1. All eligible staff will receive at least a 2% increase, and staff in Quartiles 1 and 2 will receive larger increases. 
2. Staff may receive additional increases if: 
  • They were below the new CC living wage standard of $19.25 (a 10% increase in CC’s minimum wage). 
  • They were below the minimum of their new band. 
  • There was compression due to length of service or supervisory status. 
3. No one received a pay reduction. 
The letter you receive will explain how these changes will change your pay after July 1. We understand that compensation is complex. If you have questions after reviewing these resources, please contact:
