The President’s Office is thrilled to host the first-ever Colorado College Campus Sleep-Out on Friday, Sept. 13!
Join your fellow Tigers for a night of games, movie-watching, s’mores, and stargazing on Tava Quad. This will be the start of a new CC tradition. And, of course, I wouldn’t miss it — I’ll be there, and I hope to see you too!
The fun begins Friday the 13th (spooky, I know) at 6 p.m. First, come pick your favorite spot on the lawn to set down your sleeping bag. No tents allowed. We will be sleeping in the open air!
At 7 p.m., head over to Washburn Field to cheer on the CC Men’s Soccer team as they take on Ohio Northern University. Or feel free to stick around the quad, where we’ll have lawn games, arts and crafts, and plenty of other activities.
We’ll come back together at 9 p.m. for an outdoor movie screening, followed by an indulgent late-night breakfast at 11 p.m. Spend the evening telling ghost stories around the firepits, roasting s’mores, or playing card games by the light of your headlamps. Search for constellations in the sky until your eyelids get heavy. It’ll be an unforgettable experience with your CC community as we kick off this new academic year.
Students, faculty, and staff are all invited to attend. No RSVP is required but be sure to bring your Gold Card, as this event is for CC campus community members only.
Please refer to www.coloradocollege.edu/sleepout for a list of FAQs — including what to bring (and what not to bring), food options, rain plan, and more. We’ll add details to this page as they’re finalized, such as the title of our feature film!
