While encouraging nominations is at the forefront of our effort (and if you have one, here’s a link to submit), there are several other ways to get involved with the President’s Leadership Awards. These awards were established to provide a pathway for recognition and boost morale among faculty and staff. And this award program wouldn’t be possible without the contributions of the campus community. So, aside from submitting a nomination or two, you can also get involved by encouraging others to submit nominations, volunteering to be on one of the four review committees, or sharing feedback on the award program. If any of this strikes your interest, please reach out to Monica Indrebo.
As CC actively and collectively works together to further our ADEI commitment, the President’s Leadership Awards are revisited and evaluated annually to ensure fair and equitable practices. This year, changes were made to the nomination criteria to enhance greater access, the scoring rubrics were revised to consider positionality and impact, and the review process was readdressed to reduce bias and false neutrality.
Visit President’s Leadership Awards – Colorado College to learn more about the awards program and to submit a nomination. Submissions are open until Friday, Nov. 1!
