CC’s 150th Extravaganza is only one week away!

Nov. 1-2, more than 1,000 CC faculty, staff, alumni, and students will come together on campus to celebrate Homecoming Weekend.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, the celebration will culminate with THE event of the year – the 150th Extravaganza in Robson Arena starting at 8 p.m. To access the full weekend’s event offerings, register on-site Friday, Nov. 1 beginning at 10 a.m. in Tutt Library, or, if you’re only interested in attending the Extravaganza, registration will be available on-site in Robson.

CC Campus Safety Officer Serves as Delegate to the DNC

Joe Shelton has been a member of CC’s Campus Safety team for six years, currently serving as Midnight Shift Officer. In his daytime hours, he serves his community in another way, as an Executive Council Member for the El Paso County Democratic Party. And in August, Shelton was one of Colorado’s delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
“It was an amazing time,” says Shelton of attending the DNC in Chicago. “The convention was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. There is way more to it than what we see on TV.”

Join Your Friends for a Ghostly Silent Disco

Dress up in your Halloween finest and join us at the FAC on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. for Ghostly Grooves: Silent Disco Costume Party! Grab a pair of wireless headphones (provided by Discreet Beats), tune in to one of three live DJs (Discreet Beats’ best!), and dance to your own beat under the tent in our courtyard. We’ll also have a 360 camera photo booth! Cash bar and concessions open at 7:30 p.m. The first 200 CC students get in for free with both a current Gold Card and valid photo ID.

Día de Muertos Celebration

Join the FAC for a special community gathering for Día de Muertos, a celebration of life that demonstrates remembrance, love, and respect for those who have gone before us. Choose to come on either Nov. 1 or Nov. 2 from 4-8 p.m. or celebrate with us on both days!

- Engage with hands-on art activities
