We find ourselves faced with much activity in our community over the coming weeks: the 2024 election cycle is simultaneously winding up and down, the final days of Block 3 are upon us, and many are preparing for holidays, homecoming and so much more. It is no surprise that many of us are feeling it – excitement, dread, giddiness, angst, or just the stress of everyday life.
Wherever you find yourself positioned in our community and within yourself, there are many opportunities at CC to find respite, release, a friendly ear, or engaging conversation. I encourage you to take some time to reflect on how you can best meet your own physical, mental, spiritual, intellectual, and social needs. To that end, your partners in Student Life, Human Resources, and Campus Safety have collaborated to highlight the following resources and gatherings that you may find helpful, particularly around Election Day, and through the end of Block 3.
