We’re excited to share that UCHealth is now our new Health Center partner at CC! UCHealth is a trusted healthcare leader in Southern Colorado with a nationally recognized network of hospitals, clinics, and providers who are dedicated to delivering excellent, patient-centered care. Our clinic team will include a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, medical assistant, and medical receptionist, all here to support your health needs. Starting Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, you can make an appointment by calling 719-389-6384. We’ll continue to offer a variety of primary care services, including same-day appointments.
All students who purchased the Student Health Insurance Plan will continue to receive unlimited visits at our on-campus clinic with no co-pay. Students who remain on their parent’s insurance or who have purchased insurance through the marketplace are strongly encouraged to reach out to their private medical insurance carrier to learn more about their in-network and out-of-network costs when using UCHealth. More information about billing processes with UCHealth can be found on the UCHealth website.
Any student who will be in town over Winter Break should visit the UCHealth Urgent Care at the Garden of the Gods location.
We extend our appreciation to our team from Optum, who has provided services on campus for many years. For students who are currently patients at our on-campus clinic and would like to transfer care to UCHealth, please complete this form. If you are currently getting medications through a prescription from the Student Health Center and need refills, you will need to make an appointment at the clinic to establish care with the new provider from UCHealth. If you have any outstanding billing questions for Optum, please contact their billing office directly at 1-877-229-3448. To obtain a copy of any medical records for care received through Optum, please reach out to their records department.
Please reach out to the wellness@coloradocollege.edu“> Wellness Resource Center with any other questions.
With gratitude, in community, and in good health,
