Each year, CC celebrates extraordinary individuals by awarding Honorary Degrees to those who have made remarkable contributions in their professions, the College, or the wider community. Past recipients have included a dynamic range of achievers – a choreographer, a U.S. Senator, a photographer, a National Geographic explorer, and even a banjo-playing international relations advocate.
The Academic Events Committee invites nominations for individuals to receive Honorary Degrees at Spring Commencement. Nominees for Honorary Degrees should be leaders who embody CC’s values and vision through exceptional achievement in their fields, but are not required to be CC alumni. Nominations are due Thursday, Jan. 16.
Please visit the Honorary Degree website for more information and to submit your nomination.
