Are you ready to vote in the Colorado Springs General Municipal Election? Election Day is Tuesday, Apr. 1. In Colorado, all eligible voters automatically receive a mail ballot, so you can easily vote by mail or ballot drop-box. Visit GoVoteColorado.gov to register or update your voter registration to ensure you receive your ballot.
What you should know about the upcoming election:
|
- All six City Council District seats are up for election. Each eligible voters’ ballot will contain only the District City Council candidates for their area of town based on the City Council District Boundary lines. Note: Districts have changed. For students who live on campus, you reside in District 3, and for students who live just North of Uintah, you reside in District 5. All others can find your district here.
- This election is a mail-ballot-only election. This means that registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail and ballots must be returned by mail or dropped in a ballot drop box. CC has a drop box located outside of the Boetcher Center. There will be no physical voting centers.
- Ballots will be mailed out starting March 7.
- Ballot drop boxes close Tuesday, Apr. 1 at 7 p.m.
