In alignment with recommendations from the Parking Temporary Operational Group, we are pleased to share an update to the staff and faculty parking fee structure at CC, going into effect in the 2025–26 Academic Year.
Starting in the upcoming Academic Year, parking fees will be determined by an employee’s salary. This change supports the College’s compensation philosophy and promotes internal equity across our campus community.
|
New Parking Fee Structure
|
The updated structure includes two tiers:
|
- Tier 1: Employees earning up to $49,999.99 annually will pay a parking fee calculated at 0.002 x base salary.
- Tier 2: Employees earning $50,000.00 or more will pay a parking fee calculated at 0.004 x base salary.
|
- Faculty and staff parking fees will be capped at $800 per year.
- Executives earning over $200,000 annually will have an additional $40 assessment, capping their parking fee $840 per year.
- Fees will be administered through payroll deductions each per pay period.
|
Additional Parking Information
|
- Street parking will remain $150 per year.
- Student parking will be set at $300 per year

Each employee’s specific parking fee will be calculated using their individual base salary, which will be paid through payroll deductions throughout the academic year.
These changes are part of a broader initiative to transition Parking to self-supporting auxiliary system while ensuring a more equitable approach for our community. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to a smooth rollout of this updated process. The Parking Office will be hosting a Work of the College Special Session: 2025-26 Parking Changes on Thursday, Apr. 24 from 2-3:30 p.m. in Gaylord Hall to answer questions and provide more information. For further questions or to request a more personal meeting, please email the Parking Office with the words “Meeting Request” in the subject line.
Staff and faculty parking applications will open on Monday, June 9, at 8 a.m. A link to apply will be shared closer to the date.
Thank you for your understanding,
