Changes to CC’s Emeriti® Retirement Health Solutions

CC’s Emeriti® Retirement Health Solutions program allows eligible employees to combine tax-advantaged savings with access to affordable, group retiree health insurance to help you and your dependents prepare for the high costs of healthcare when you retire.

Emeriti® has announced a new administrative platform through a partner called OneBridge Benefits. This platform offers a streamlined and enhanced user experience with fewer log-ins.

In the coming weeks, you will receive additional details about this change, including specific actions you may need to take. Please monitor your email and mail for important communications from Emeriti®.

For currently employed participants, please note that there will be alterations to the plan investment menu. No action is required currently. You may have already received information regarding these changes.

Retired participants will benefit from changes as well. As part of the administrative conversion, these participants will:

Have the ability to request reimbursements for qualified health expenses without having to first transfer funds to the money market mutual fund
Have access to a simpler, streamlined claims process
Receive updated debit cards for both prescription and medical claims
Enjoy more connectivity with a new smartphone app

These changes will require Emeriti® to interrupt the claims process while they transition to their new administrative partner. Please note:

There will be a period, from Nov. 22 to Dec. 27, during which claims submissions will not be processed. Claims received after Nov. 22 will be forwarded to OneBridge for processing in the new year.
There is no deadline for claims submissions (i.e., they do not have to be submitted by the end of the calendar year), but there will be a delay in issuing reimbursements for claims submitted after Nov. 22. Claim processing will resume in the new year.
