Campus Accessibility has finished their task for this year. An evaluation was completed and recommendations are being made. Some suggestions being considered are more regular accessibility audits of buildings, developing a more comprehensive staff and faculty compliance training, developing a strategic plan for larger accessible facility needs, and providing more supporting information for College constituents who are planning and hosting events and programs. Clery Hazing Reporting presented their first report to the COO. The group is focusing on training for NSO, RAs and RLC’s, the CCSGA, and staff and faculty. Other projects include updating the definition of hazing within the Pathfinder and linking this throughout campus.
[New] International People and Practices (IPP) is focused on navigating the volatile international landscape and will be meeting weekly. The focus of the group is to stay abreast of changes in international travel, international enrollment, and study abroad, and to help coordinate support for all employees and students with international backgrounds. IPP will identify action items such as protocols, policies, or resources needed to mitigate impact on our people and practices.
Minors on Campus will be working over the summer to continue its evaluation of the current Minors on Campus policy with the goal of having a new policy ready by Block 3 of the next academic year. The group is also currently working on training for the upcoming summer season for all who interact with minors on campus.
Parking shared changes to parking fees in the Changes to Staff and Faculty Parking email that was sent to campus. Parking continues to work with Park Mobile to improve the experience for guest parking. There are 36 guest spaces spread throughout campus in addition to the FAC. A Work of the College session was held in reference to parking.
