Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday’s ITS Division meeting.
I recognize that yesterday’s discussion was difficult and that organizational changes of this nature can bring uncertainty and many questions. I appreciate the professionalism, compassion, and respect everyone showed throughout the day.
As discussed during the meeting, Colorado College continues to address ongoing financial challenges affecting higher education. As part of the College’s long-term planning efforts, ITS has evaluated its organizational structure, priorities, and service delivery model to better align with the future needs of the institution. As a result, several positions within ITS have been eliminated, and new positions are being created to support the department’s future direction.
To provide the transparency we committed to during the meeting, the following positions have been eliminated:
EIS Specialist (3 positions)
AV Events Assistant
User Support Specialist – Classroom Systems
Project Coordinator, Automation
Project Coordinator, Communication
AVP, Deputy CIO
New ITS positions are now available and are open to all qualified members of the Colorado College community, including current ITS employees, employees whose positions were eliminated, and other internal applicants. We encourage anyone who is interested and meets the qualifications to review the available opportunities and apply.

I want to sincerely thank each of you for your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Your professionalism, resilience, and willingness to support one another have not gone unnoticed, and I am incredibly grateful for everything you do. While these are undoubtedly challenging times, I feel genuinely optimistic about the future of our division because of the team we have. I have great confidence in our ability to navigate these challenges together, continue delivering meaningful value to the institution, and emerge even stronger as we move forward.
