Colorado College Mentoring Program

You are invited to join the Colorado College Mentoring Program! This program connects CC students with alumni and family members in a formal mentorship. This program is designed to last 7 months, although the relationships formed could last well into the future! 
Why participate? 
  • You will gain a professional resource and expand your network.
  • Your mentor can help you expand your knowledge and skills.
  • You will receive valuable advice, guidance, and recommendations to prepare you for your future.  
Mentee Application Window: August 28th – October 1st

Finance Symposium

Learn about finance by connecting with alumni and recruiters! This event will allow students to better understand the hiring process for finance opportunities, how they can develop necessary skills for finance opportunities, and how to effectively develop and utilize a network. Professional business dress is expected.

Highlighted Positions 


U.S. Figure Skating – Marketing & Communications Intern 
The Marketing & Communications Intern will support the Marketing and Communications departments across all projects. Responsibilities also include:
  • Managing the tagging of social posts through our social media vendors
  • Contribute to U.S. Figure Skating’s social media strategy, including but not limited to content creation and branded campaigns.
  • Gathering insights from survey results and other data collection methods.
  • Program ideation and implementation.

Don’t Forget: Meet the Cabinet Tomorrow on Tava Quad

TOMORROW: Meet the Cabinet and Enjoy Some Ice Cream

Come meet and get to know The Cabinet on Tava Quad on Tues. Sept. 19, from 3:30-5 p.m. Get free ice cream starting at 4 p.m., and head to the overhang on the north side of Armstrong Hall if it rains.

The Work of the College Series is a year-long program of events with four goals: (1) clarify organizational structures and decision-making processes; (2) offer campus constituencies the opportunity to dialogue with leadership about campus affairs; (3) increase decision-making transparency in hopes of building trust; and (4) build community.

The Work of the College Series consists of:

  • Community Conversations (dialogue about specific topics)
  • Roadshows (presentations and Q&As)
  • Board of Trustees Town Halls (informational updates)

First Mondays are changing this year, and the Academic Events Committee is excited to present our initial First Monday event of the 2023-24 academic year.
Join us Monday, Sept. 25 from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Kathryn Mohrman Theatre for a thoughtful discussion, 150 Years: An Occasion to Build a New Future? with panelists Susan Ashley, Mike Taber, and Lily Byrne ’24, moderated by Neena Grover, RNA Biochemist and Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry.

We will take a moment to mark the past in our celebration of the sesquicentennial and contemplate what Colorado College’s future holds.
